In all cases, a thorough economic analysis of the relevant market is coupled with a careful review of operational systems in the corresponding industry. The effective application of this approach was instrumental in the establishment of a hospital, several retail stores and a branch of a major credit union within the last five years. We focus on helping clients to make decisions, not on publishing fancy documents to decorate shelves. For example, a project that ended in the construction of a new $30-million hospital required our involvement in negotiations with the entity providing a guarantee for a bond issue. We also helped the client to evaluate several strategic options regarding siting, financing and competitive positioning in a regional health care market.

Feliciano, President,
has been a leading figure in the
Island’s consulting community for
over 15 years. He holds a B.A. in
Economics, Cum Laude, from Harvard
and an M.B.A from Switzerland’s IMD.
His prior experience includes an
executive engagement at a major
corporation in Lima, Perú, and a
stint at Puerto Rico’s industrial
promotion agency. Dr.
Juan Lara, Chief Economist,
is one of the Island’s best-known
economists. A full professor of
Economics at the University of
Puerto Rico, he has been a
professional consultant for over 20
years. Dr. Lara directed the Latin
American Service at Philadelphia’s
Wharton Econometric Forecasting
Associates in the early 1980s, and
taught at Haverford College and
Temple University. As a consultant
in Puerto Rico, he has managed
influential studies in the areas of
housing, banking, construction and
economic policy. Vladimir
Rivera, Senior Economist,
holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in
Economics, with high honors, from
the University of Puerto Rico. In
more than ten years of consulting
practice, he has gained invaluable
experience in litigation support,
feasibility studies and competitive
business strategy. Mr. Rivera is the
perfect field lieutenant for the
Advantage team when a client braces
for a tough campaign.

the University of Puerto Rico and is

Odalys Arroyo,

has two BAs, one in Economics and
the other in Political Science, and
both Cum Laude from the University
of Puerto Rico, and is a candidate
for a Master’s degree in the same

a candidate for a Master’s degree in
